Whistle-blower Policy
Sportscover Australia does not tolerate fraud, corruption or unethical behaviour. The Board of Directors, senior management and affiliates recognise that upholding the standards and procedures within this policy requires confidence on the part of all staff, contractors and suppliers that issues of concern can be raised and addressed fairly, thoroughly and without fear of retaliation or harassment.
The Board is committed to providing a safe, legal and ethical work environment for all employees, contractors and suppliers to operate within and encourages all staff to report wrongdoings. The Board and senior management are committed to protecting and supporting the dignity, wellbeing, career and good name of anyone reporting wrongdoings in good faith.
This Policy is intended to address situations in which an employee, contractor or supplier has reason to believe another employee, contractor or supplier of Sportscover Australia has engaged in illegal acts or questionable conduct. It is designed to encourage reporting and provide best possible whistle-blower protection to those who make disclosures in good faith.
All whistleblowing reports will be kept confidential and secure unless we are legally bound to provide details to authorities in any criminal matter.
