The club is extremely proud that their junior program has grown by 350% in 3 years. Narromine Little Athletic Centre will use the SSF $1000 grant to purchase new high jump mats to improve safety for members. |

Kalamunda Districts Rugby Union Club Inc The Kalamunda Districts Rugby Union Club has been awarded the $1000 grant in order to purchase tackle suits for their junior teams, this will allow the juniors to become more confident and hopefully have an increased enjoyment of the game. Their junior membership numbers have increased by 25% in the last 12 months. The Kalamunda Districts Rugby Union Club is passionate about developing rugby union in Western Australian and allowing all members to achieve their full potential. |

CGGS Rowing Club CGGS Rowing Club promotes acceptance of others through team involvement and encourages Senior rowers to continue fostering the sport by becoming coaches of the future. CGGS Rowing Club will use the $1000 grant to repair broken equipment such as damaged boats and rigging. |

Canberra Griffins Dragon Boat Club The Canberra Griffins Dragon Boat Club’s goal is to compete internationally for Australia at the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) World Championships in Sydney - Sept 2007. The club will use the $1000 sponsorship to purchase new carbon fibre paddles that meet IDBF standards. |

With junior development being a major focus, the club will use the $1000 to purchase road and track bikes for junior riders to allow them to try the sports without the initial outlay of having to purchase a bike. |

Coober Pedy Football Club Inc. The main goal of the Coober Pedy Football Club is to promote active participation in a team environment and raise the self esteem of members. During the 2006 season Coober Pedy Football Club completed a 900km round trip to Roxby Downs 8 weeks out of the 12 week season. The club will use the $1000 grant to cover their travel expenses during the season. |

Westlakes Athletics Club The main goal for Westlakes Athletics Club is for its members to have fun without the pressure of winning or losing, they hope that through the members being introduced to sport, teaching athletic skills and encouraging sportsmanship they will achieve that. The $1000 grant will be used in a variety of ways including purchasing equipment such as parachute, tunnel balls and cones for the kids and for athlete’s medicine balls and vortexes. |

Southern Districts Touch Football Association Southern Districts Touch Football Association plan to use most of the $1000 SSF grant to purchase a line marker to help mark the eight fields they play on. The rest of the funds will be used to fund a junior development program to help their younger members prepare actual games of Touch Football. One of the clubs goals is to increase junior player membership numbers and offer an inexpensive and fun form of physical activity to members of the community. |

Clearview Bowling Club Clearview Bowling Club aims to make the club a “Centre of Excellence” for current and new members of the club. The club has previously been selected as a host club for the 2002 International Paralympics Bowls Championships at which 10 countries were represented. They plan to use the $1000 to purchase 20 new Lawn Bowls Mats. |

Wodonga Athletic Club Inc Wodonga Athletic Club is a small self funded club with over 100 registered athletes and they generally rank within the top 4 clubs throughout Country Victoria. They plan to use the $1000 in funding to update their equipment in order to help a talented group of junior athletes. |

Roe Districts Men’s Hockey Association Roe Districts Men’s Hockey Association is a small association with 5 teams spread over a distance of 210kms, but, despite their small size, a number of their players have gone on to represent their state, including 4 veterans currently playing at state level. The Association plans to use the $1000 grant to try and increase the number of junior players and further develop local umpires. |

Katherine Baseball Association Katherine Baseball Association was reformed 2 years ago and has both junior and senior teams. The $1000 grant will be used to replace junior equipment that was damaged in a recent flood. |

Cloverdale Comets Diamond Sports Association Cloverdale Comets Diamond Sports Association was only set up a year ago, but has already gone from strength to strength, managing to register 148 children in the first year. They plan to use the $1000 grant to buy new helmets for their state teams and safety bags for all diamonds. |

Far North Coast Disabled Surfers Association Far North Coast Disabled Surfers Association’s mission statement is "Surfers helping Surfers", and they provide an opportunity for all individuals to experience the beach and the surf regardless of ANY disability. They have branches in WA, SA, QLD and NSW. They plan to use the funds to run as many events as they can, as well as to replace old equipment. |

North’s Baseball Club North’s Baseball Club has been in existence for 60 years and they are very proud of their record, which includes winning the club championship 16 out of the last 20 years and having 9 Australian representative players. They plan to use the $1000 funding to buy uniforms and help with travel costs for junior players. |

Murrayville Lawn Tennis Club Murrayville Lawn Tennis Club has been in existence for 41 years and, remarkably, have had at least one of their teams make it into the grand final 34 times. They plan to use the $1000 grant to replace and upgrade the water pipes and sprinklers on their grass courts. |

WA Kookaburras Floorball Club WA Kookaburras Floorball Club offers floorball at a positive, social and competitive level in Western Australia. Although set up only 2 years ago, they have already had several players selected in the Australian team traveling to Denmark in 2007. They plan to use the $1000 grant for uniforms and to help with training. |

Seaford Life Saving Club Inc Seaford Life Saving Club Inc offer and encourage training, team work and leadership skills to people of all ages in Seaford and surrounding areas. They plan to use the $1000 grant to expand their nipper program for juniors aged between 7 and 14 years old, by purchasing 2 nipper boards. |

Red Lions Gaelic Football Club Red Lions Gaelic Football Club was formed only 2 ½ years ago and has already made a grand final. Their objective is to build a team with a strong culture based upon participation for enjoyment, health and fitness, nurturing friendships and teamwork.
