- Must be an amateur sporting club or association situated in Australia.
- Must not have received prior funding from Sportscover in the past two years.
- Funding may not be used to purchase alcoholic beverages, tobacco or to support any illegal or improper activity.
- Digital colour photographs of the sponsorship in action must be supplied for use when and where deemed appropriate for marketing purposes by Sportscover and SBS.
- The recipients must make themselves available to SBS and Sportscover for an interview if required.
- Recipients of the Sponsorship Fund must display a Sportscover banner where appropriate.
