As part of its drive to provide a range of services to sport, Sportscover has launched a new portal for exclusive interviews with sports VIPs, together with news and features from its popular Touchline magazine.

The new website, www.touchlinemagazine.com contains all of the features from its quarterly Touchline magazine that has a burgeoning readership of over five thousand, but has the added bonus of a new initiative -Touchline TV – to promote sport and present interviews on topical sports issues from people in the know.

At launch, Touchline TV includes interviews with Ashley Metcalfe, CEO of British Weight Lifting and Commonwealth Games weightlifting gold medallist, Zoe Smith, Women’s Rugby World Cup winning captain Amber Reed and Mansfield Town CEO, Carolyn Radford among others. The content will be both global and topical, and sometimes controversial, such as Carolyn’s views on the sustainability of the current English Premier League model.

Touchline TV also aims to assist with the promotion of sport through publicising major events and championships. In March, Sportscover announced a partnership with British Weight Lifting (BWL) that will mean that Touchline TV will film and distribute highlights from the BWL Senior Championships in June.
